Greetings and thank you for visiting my blog. My practice is located on the 3rd floor of the historic Hardwick Inn building in Hardwick, VT. I have worked in the field of mental health for 20+ years and continue to enjoy the work that I do. I am currently offering crisis counseling and longer term therapy.
Crisis counseling is meant to assist individuals and families with stabilization, informed decision making, and post-crisis planning. I have emergency appointments available.
I also offer longer term weekly appointments for individuals seeking ongoing treatment for mental health issues. As part of my practice I have a therapy cat named "Atticus". The integration of pets into counseling sessions has proven helpful in many ways. Please check out the articles on this blog that demonstrate the usefulness of pets for both children and adults in counseling.
